Get Ready for Prime Day

Since 2015, Amazon has celebrated its founding day with a huge sale. This year, Prime Day starts at midnight (PDT) on July 15 and runs until 11:59 p.m. (PDT) July 16. You’ll find Christmas-caliber shopping deals on everything from furniture and electronics to toys and home goods. We’ve rounded up our favorite deals for Prime members on smart home and safety equipment.

Prime Day 2019 has a ton of deals on smart home devices. One of our favorites is the myQ Smart Garage Door Opener. When paired with the myQ app, you can open and close your garage door from anywhere in the world. This year’s deal also gives you the option of pairing the myQ with an Amazon Cloud Cam so you can see who comes in and out of your home. To top it all off, Prime members in select areas can qualify for Amazon Key. The Echo family tree has grown since the device debuted in 2014. You can control compatible devices like smart lights, outlets, cameras, and TVs through your Amazon Echo, making it easy to make your home a little more intelligent. Regular online shoppers and smart home enthusiasts know how important a quality router can be. This year’s Prime members can get a deal on the TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Router. Prime Day usually means serious discounts on Kindle tablets like the Fire 7. Last year, the Fire 7 tablet sold for under $30, so we’re predicting another serious discount. These tablets can stream movies, browse the web, and of course, access your Kindle library for books and audiobooks.

The Arlo Pro 2 cameras are tiny but powerful, and they’re under $300 for Prime Day. These security cams are durable enough to work inside and outdoors. Don’t get stranded anymore with the portable Jump&Go portable car jump starter. This is another Prime Day launch we want to keep our eyes on. This is a great gadget for anyone who has terrible luck with their car or wants to be prepared for long road trips.
